Emergency Management

Scott Talbot Co-founder and President of Skywave Safety has spent a majority of his years in public service. Scott is a certified Police officer, firefighter-EMT and  has worked for FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) as a disaster field sector chief.

Emergency Planning - We can review your current plans, revise, modify and update current and new plans and prepare them for local and State inspection.

Capabilities

  • Review, build, modify emergency plans and make revisions
  • Multi Agency Interoperability between Local, County, State and Federal Governments
  • Prepare and apply for Federal, State and local block grants to offset cost of emergency management.
  • Educate and train emergency responders, town officials and the public in the needs of emergency management.
  • Facilitate meetings and round table discussions with local officials including town government, fire, police, EMS, public works, LEPC (local emergency planning committee and the public.
  • Maintain quality control by instituting an annual review of plans, contracts and changes to the Emergency Management plan.
  • Annually design a tabletop exercise for local and state officials and to apply the emergency management plan
